PROJECT SUMMARY:

Our client is running a large global virtual desktop environment which is dispersed over 3 regions (EMEA, APAC, AMER). Everything is installed and supported on premises utilizing service/data centers. Utilized hardware virtualization technology is planned to be Azure Public Cloud.. Virtual desktop environments are based on Windows 10/11 multisession technology and classical VDI (Virtual Desktop infrastructure) and provided in 2 principal services lines:

Virtual Desktop Light: The shared virtual desktop based on a shared desktop session out of Windows 10/11 multisession accessed via RDP

Virtual Application Hosting: The virtual application service, based on a shared application session out of Windows 10/11 multisession accessed via RDP

REQUIREMENTS:

Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop architecture
Expertise in application delivery (SCCM, Intune, App-V, MSIX and others.) with focus on Image build
Understanding and experience with 3rd party AVD tools (e.g., Hydra, NerdIO, ControlUp)
Strong understanding of automation and orchestration
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to create and maintain partnerships.
Familiar with ITIL, Agile approach and continuous improvement
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Fluent English language
5+ years of automating framework-based software deployment and packaging.
5+ years of experience in implementing/maintaining enterprise-scale virtual desktop environments (20000+ users)
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, GraphAPI)
Ability to build and maintain partnerships
